100 Club Recommends - July

The latest playlist courtesy of our friends over at The 100 Club is live now, and this month it's a summer selection that's made for those magic moments before a night out on holiday.

Now that the heavy-hitters of festival season are out of the way, you’re probably ready to head off somewhere hot. Tickets are booked and bags are packed, but what are you listening to once you’ve touched down?

Whether you’re fresh off the plane or going hard one last time before you return to normality, this one’s packed with tracks that simply sound better when the weather’s warmer, the drinks are cooler and the nights seem longer.

Featuring a heavy presence of uplifting electronic and dance music, it’s a playlist that captures the essence of escapism. Perfect for summer. Have a read about some key selections and subscribe below.

Anish Kumar - Anish Kumar’s ‘A Mixtape' is a triumphant release that provides the perfect soundtrack to summer, whatever the setting. We’ve picked 'Little Miss Dynamite', but anything from the 2023 release is worth your time.

Disclosure - Since teasing 'She’s Gone, Dance On’ earlier in the year, the track has been itching to be released into the wild of festival fields and summer parties. As comfortable on your get-ready playlist as it is in the eye of the storm of a night out, ’She’s Gone, Dance On’ is another staple of Disclosure’s growing catalogue.

LCD Soundsystem - Nostalgic, rousing and timeless.

Bex - Bex's 'Ground Floor' has been across so many of my new playlists this summer. The whole album is a great one, but this song is just the best to put on right before you head out for the night.

Sudan Archives - Always an absolute summer staple.
