Name, where are you from?
H: Harry, Weymouth/Clapham.
A: Alfie, South West London.
L: Lloyd, South West London.
Describe your style in three words?
H: Lack of sense.
A: A simple man.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
H: Slightly cheesy choice here but Foo Fighters, amazing stage presence and they know how to hold a crowd.
A: Pup album launch at Fighting Cocks. Every time I’ve seen Pup it’s been pure energy start to finish, and always amazes me everyone knows every single word even if an album has just come out.
L: My first ever show; Peter Andre. Don’t think I even need to explain why.
If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
H: Mac Wetha and Biig Piig because they seem really nice.
A: Pixies and Ariel Pink, just to hang out.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
H: Main one that comes to mind is the lo-fi subculture, took me some time to understand not everything has to be meticulously written and that type of music showed me that if it sounds good then it works and doesn't require any more thought than that
A: Garage surf punk, love how under producing music can retain and add so much character.
L: When I was around 14 I saw a Thrasher Mag vid covering SXSW 2012, I know it’s not really a clear subculture but seeing all of these unique, interesting and wild-looking acts really inspired me, and it also showed how genre doesn’t matter anymore. I found out about a lot of good music from that video.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
H: Theodore Roosevelt.
A: Billy the Kid, just to hang out.
L: Anton Chekhov.
Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
H: Fighting Cocks in Kingston, was the spiritual home of the band me and Lloyd played in together when we were younger.
A: Fighting Cocks too x
L: Fighting Cocks for the same reasons as above, also love OTC in Herne Hill.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
H: Sweet Alf.
A: Townes Van Zant. One of the greats.
L: Darondo.
