03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Self-confident tasteless - Help Cats - magnificent.

The first track you played on repeat?

Tears For Fears - Shout

The pounding sound drove me crazy in my childhood and I couldn't get enough of it.

A song from your favorite album?

Bill Withers - Use Me - Live at Carnegie Hall, New York, NY - October 1972

I think it's the best gospel/soul life album to be released to date. With the song 'Use Me' I was immediately enthusiastic about the audience.

A song from your most memorable gig?

The Who - Who Are You

With a bucket of water and a washcloth, I had to keep myself awake at that time so as not to fall asleep. The gig came late at night and I was very young. Now after 30 years I have seen the band live and by the first song, I already had tears in my eyes. I love this band to this today!

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus - Single Version

When the guitar starts I'm in dance mode. It's like voodoo for me and I can't do anything but dance.

A new song you're listening to?

Betterov - Angst - Unplugged Version

Betterov has been able to accurately capture the mood of depression from such a young person. This one is the unplugged version of a very fast song. The sound reminds me of the '80s and alternative bands. Today they call it post-punk.

Best song to turn up loud?

Hank Williams III - I'm Drunk Again

From the moment the gun is loaded, everything is self-explanatory.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Ebow - ARABA

This has nothing to do with my life and I don't really listen to rap. This lady, however, I find really good in her spate. Please tell no one.

An anthemic song?

Udo Jürgens - Griechischer Wein

It is about the first Greek immigrants who long for their homeland. Actually, it is a sad song, because you can imagine how much homesickness hurts.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

CousteauX - Last Good Day Of The Year

I think this is self-explanatory.
