The Fred Perry Championship: a youth tennis tournament for the champions of the future
In 2019 we launched the Fred Perry Championship at the Brentham Tennis Club, where Fred originally trained over 100 years ago. Now we’re back on home soil to meet the tennis champions of the future.

The 2022 Fred Perry Championship kicked off with regional qualifying events in Nottingham, Manchester and Hove on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September, with the finals at Will to Win in Pitshanger Park and next door at Fred’s beloved Brentham Club on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. The finals will be live-streamed on the Fred Perry and Tennis Trust websites so you can watch all the on-court action from the comfort of your living room.
As ever, male and female winners in each age group will receive a clothing supply, helping them on their way to becoming tennis champions.

A year ago, we launched the Fred Perry Championship at the Brentham Club. Fred Perry has a history here. It’s 101 years since he first played at the Brentham Club, and we look forward to welcoming this year’s talented young players to the club – the tennis champions of the future.
In September 2019, we introduced a new national youth tennis tournament: The Fred Perry Championship. 100 years after Fred first played at the Brentham Club, we returned to home soil to watch the best of the UK’s players compete to become the best in their age group.
Fred Perry and Margaret Howell’s new collaboration celebrates the brands’ distinct aesthetics: a collision of two worlds. Made with reference to the very first tennis pieces in our archive, Margaret Howell was inspired to create a monochrome collection that is familiar, yet distinctly fresh. British heritage meets contemporary design.
