A Clara Knör Photo
Name, where are you from?
Clara Knör - Munich.
What do you do?
I am an illustrator.
Describe your style in three words?
Funny - colorful - confident.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
I think it was Die Ärzte in cologne. I was there with my sister a long time ago when I was 15 or something and it was our childhood dream to go there together one day.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Townes van Zandt and Augustus Pablo. I just think it would be a really funny night.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
I've been skating since I was 13 so the Skateboarding culture and everything that comes along with it had the biggest influence on me.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Beth Lesser. I think she is such an interesting person and I would love to sit down with her and listen to all her stories.
Of all the independent venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
I think it must be at the Baklengs street fest in Oslo. It was a very spontaneously gig and I was really nervous because it was my first trip after a long time and also my first time in Oslo. I loved it.
The first track you played on repeat?
'Rebell' by Die Ärzte.
A song that defines the teenage you?
'Every Time the Sun Comes Up' by Sharon Van Etten.
One record you would keep forever?
'Seasons' by Dexter Story.
Best song to turn up loud?
'Crisi di Nervi' by Carsten Meyer and Jacques Palminger.
A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Slide Away' by Miley Cyrus.
The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
'Bad Wine' by RDL Shellah.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
'Blasphemous Rumours' by Depeche Mode.
Any new bands you are into at the moment?
RDL Shellah.
