Describe your style in three words?
Modern, comfy, tall.
The first track you played on repeat?
Stereophonics - Have A Nice Day
My first memory of music is listening to this song with my dad on different journeys, usually to collect building materials. It reminds me of being young and carefree.
A song from your favorite album?
Oasis - Slide Away - Remastered
I absolutely love Oasis. Their debut album 'Definitely Maybe' is one of my favourites ever, and this track is amazing. One of the best songs from the '90s.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Courteeners - Not Nineteen Forever
I was at the reopening of the Manchester Arena and Courteeners supported Noel Gallagher, they played this song and the room shook. It’s one of my favourite songs and always evokes so many memories.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
David Bowie - Let's Dance - 2018 Remaster
The title says it all!
A new song you're listening to?
Wolf Alice - The Beach II
I love Wolf Alice, over the last few years they’ve become one of my favourite bands and this song from their newest album ‘Blue Weekend’ is constantly being played at the minute.
Best song to turn up loud?
The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection - Remastered
It’s the perfect song to blast loudly, at any given time. A true indie anthem. Perfect for any occasion.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Blossoms - Charlemagne
This song came out when I was sixteen, in the middle of my teens. It’s a song that I loved then and I still love now. Blossoms have become a massive part of my music taste and I absolutely love seeing them live and this was the song that started it all!
An anthemic song?
New Order - True Faith - 2011 Total Version
Where indie and dance music meet. They create this anthemic masterpiece. A brilliant chorus and a mid-tempo beat perfect for singing your lungs out too, and even the odd dance.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Beatles - All You Need Is Love - Remastered 2009
They sum up human nature in a few simple words. Love is all we need. It’s the perfect way to end the night surrounded by good company. It also makes for a great sing-song.
