Describe your style in three words?
Casual Easy Effortless.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Derek & The Dominos - Layla - 40th Anniversary Version / 2010 Remastered
I have always been aware of this song but a couple of years ago I really started to focus on the many layers that the song has. I realised that every time you listen to the song you can draw different meaning and I started playing it over and over again everywhere.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Queen - Tie Your Mother Down - Remastered 2011
It is such a raw and powerful song and it is probably the song that made me interested in rock n roll at such a young age. If it wasn’t for this album and song the music I listen to now would definitely be very different.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Oasis - Rock ‘n’ Roll Star - Remastered
Unfortunately I was too young to watch Oasis play live. I am lucky enough to have been able to watch Liam Gallagher live. He opened with Rock n Roll Star. I am in awe of the way that he can control a crowd while standing with his hands behind his back
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Clash - Rock the Casbah - Remastered
It is such a groovy song that has an unbelievably catchy rhythm. How can you not get up and dance?
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
The Weeknd - Blinding Lights
I don’t really like many songs by The Weeknd however this song has some very cool and catchy synths and the chorus comes in strong and I find it very hard not to sing along!
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker - 1990 Remaster
This is, in my opinion, the ultimate guitar hard rock riff. It’s a song that is best appreciated as loud as possible.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger
It is such a feel-good song. I think it has the most explosive chorus out of any song ever written and it is probably also one of the best songs to sing along to with friends on a night out. It just brings out the best memories of being with the best people.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
It is a song that appeals to everyone and a song that resonates with the majority of people. The way it builds into the chorus the anthemic
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?
It a very raw and powerful song that brings people together.
