Describe your style in three words?
Simple.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
The Offspring - Nitro (Youth Energy)
At home in the countryside playing solitaire.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Dwarves - Fuck You Up And Get High
Joy of destruction... the album represents itself as perfect essence. Every song short and with full throttle aka awesome things don't have to last long (hahaaaa).
A song from your most memorable gig?
Mother Tongue - Vesper
This was at the Visions X-Mas-Party. Don't remember the year or the first 2 bands, BUT I do remember the last two: The Cooper Temple Clause & the freakingly awesome live experience called MOTHER TONGUE... what a bunch of heroes on stage!!
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Faith No More - Epic
The staccato of the vocals and, to be honest, early childhood memories. We got a satellite dish and could finally watch MTV (Beavis & Butthead, Rollins Band, the Grunge Wave etc). The visuals of the video of epic are still burned in my mind. Either way... Faith no more IS EPIC!
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Amyl and The Sniffers - Gacked on Anger
"I'm working off my arse, every single day, for a minimum wage.... I'm sleeping on the floor, in a car, in a tent..." this is one of the best beginnings in music history and (with few exceptions) the story of ma life.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Gojira - Backbone
Steady beat which helps me a lot during hard and monotonous work and during the cardio sessions in training (and during cleaning).
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Korn - Dead Bodies Everywhere
Death of my father.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Thermals - A Pillar Of Salt
One of the most fitting descriptions of life.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Radiohead - Karma Police
Seeing the "All-Nighter" as all night lasting shift at the door the song is a mental cashing out of being insulted/spit on from customers/the things I experienced due to the insane, weird mental states people are in sometimes under the influence of drugs/stress during the night.
