Our shirt dress is a Fred Perry perennial, taking design cues from our mens’ shirting and the check patterns and muted tones of ‘90s grunge. As the punk scene started to decline, loud prints, wild hair, and shouty vocals gave way to a more subdued style of dress. Understated - but a statement all the same. Our brushed check shirt dress dials it back - with an oversized fit and drop shoulder for a slouchy feel, and a centre back tuck to help the fabric drape. Finished with a chest patch pocket and branded buttons.
